The technology
is evolving very quickly nowadays. Every day new technology flooded public
without they are realize and one of the new technology is the development of
the traffic. In traffic police there will always be that records vehicle data
in specific areas to calculate the density of the traffic. And to determine the
density of the police must calculate
and determine the status of a density continuously. Because man cannot work
continuously which can make the data being inaccurate. For it to make the jamming detection tools in order not to
have to continue to calculate and determine the status of the density in that
way and also with this tool the data generated will be more accurate.
Therefore, I want to make a tool that can
detect any vehicle passing and classifying based
on the type of vehicle. Such a device would later record the State of the
traffic in the street and then take the data from the traffic on the road and
then the data is processed and displayed in the website that will be accessible
to the entire public so that people will know the State of the traffic on the
road they will skip, if circumstances do not allow for then they can specify
another path. So the tool will provide an information to the
whole public of the State of traffic on each of the streets with the data
obtained based on tools that I will create later.
The tool uses a
Raspberry as a component of the Pi controllers, the programming language used,
namely Python. Some components that support used in this tool are one-way camera series from Raspberry Pi as
a recorder and will be made to detect the vehicle, then the voltage source from
the adapter via micro USB with a voltage of+ 5V and current 2A.
This tool shows
the research results that could determine Pi status Raspberry traffic density.
It is a new breakthrough in the field of technology and can facilitate the work
of man.
With the tool,
shows that the technology on traffic can thrive where police later can easily
retrieve data traffic for a proof when something happens. And also be
facilitated by the presence of public information from the tool that will help
in determining the fastest path to be able quickly to the goal without getting
stuck or undergone congestion
on the road.
I hope the Government
can seriously resolve the traffic congestion in large cities by way of
developing this tool and was used in any way in Indonesia.
